Could three daily doses of blood thinner save more pregnant women from deadly clots?

NCT ID NCT04861103

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking the blood thinner Lovenox three times a day works better than the standard twice-daily schedule for pregnant women at high risk of blood clots. About 12 pregnant women will take the three-times-a-day regimen, and researchers will measure their blood levels of the drug. The goal is to find a dosing schedule that provides steady protection throughout the day.
