Blood cell clues may predict lung disease progression

NCT ID NCT07176260

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how blood cells work and levels of oxidative stress in 120 people with pre-capillary pulmonary hypertension. Researchers want to see if these blood markers can help detect the disease and predict how it will progress. Participants give blood samples during routine visits over 3 years, and results are compared with standard heart and lung tests.
