New drug combo targets tough breast cancer subtype in phase 3 trial

NCT ID NCT05806060

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug VEGFR BP102 to standard chemotherapy (nab-paclitaxel) helps people with a specific, hard-to-treat form of advanced triple-negative breast cancer (called BLIS subtype). About 134 participants who have not had prior treatment for metastatic disease will be enrolled. The main goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth compared to chemotherapy alone.
