New treatment shows promise for Tough-to-Treat adult leukemia

NCT ID NCT03751072

Summary

This study looked at how well a drug called blinatumomab worked for 92 adults in France with a type of blood cancer called B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The patients had cancer that had come back, didn't respond to other treatments, or had small amounts of cancer cells left after initial therapy. Researchers tracked how long patients lived, whether the cancer responded to the drug, and what side effects occurred.
