Summary
This study tested a treatment for children with cystic hygromas, which are fluid-filled lumps in the neck or face. Doctors drained the fluid and injected a medicine called bleomycin into the lump every 4 weeks until it shrank enough. In 30 children, the treatment reduced the size of the lumps, with some having over 90% shrinkage.
