New bladder surgery technique aims for better diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07259798
Summary
This study compared two surgical methods for removing medium-sized bladder tumors (2-6 cm) to see which provides better tissue samples for diagnosis. Researchers worked with 50 bladder cancer patients to determine if a newer 'en-bloc' removal technique gives doctors clearer information about the tumor than the conventional method. The goal was to find which approach leads to more accurate diagnosis and potentially safer surgery.
