Bladder thermometer may boost brain bleed recovery

NCT ID NCT07302009

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests if using a bladder thermometer to guide body temperature control helps people recover from severe brain bleeding. About 308 adults will be randomly assigned to either continuous bladder temperature monitoring or standard armpit temperature checks. The goal is to see if the bladder method leads to better functional recovery at 180 days and to track any side effects like infections or shivering.
