Scientists probe hidden world of bladder bacteria in major health study
NCT ID NCT07494864
Summary
This research aims to understand how bacteria living in the bladder and the body's immune response relate to various urinary tract conditions. The study will enroll 800 adults, including healthy volunteers and people with conditions like recurrent UTIs, bladder pain, overactive bladder, and early-stage bladder cancer. Researchers will collect urine, stool, and bladder cell samples to compare bacteria and immune markers across different groups.
