New bladder cancer treatment trial aims to beat standard chemotherapy

Summary
This study is testing whether a new treatment called TARA-002 works better than standard chemotherapy for adults with high-grade bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the muscle wall. Researchers will give TARA-002 directly into the bladder and compare it to standard chemotherapy to see which is more effective at eliminating cancer and preventing it from coming back. The trial will also carefully track side effects and safety for both treatments.
