New injection aims to stop bladder Cancer's return

NCT ID NCT07198451

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting a chemotherapy drug called gemcitabine directly into the bladder wall after tumor removal surgery can better prevent the cancer from coming back. It will involve 320 adults with intermediate- or high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The goal is to see if this new method is more effective and causes fewer side effects than standard treatments.
