Sitting or lying down? study tests best position for bladder cancer drug

NCT ID NCT07474519

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether changing your position (lying down, sitting, or moving freely) affects how long the BCG medicine stays in the bladder during treatment for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. About 40 people will try each position and researchers will measure the time they can hold the medicine. The goal is to find ways to make treatment easier, especially for those who have trouble holding the medicine for the full 2 hours.
