One poke or ten? study tests simpler bladder botox
NCT ID NCT05308979
Summary
This study tested whether giving a standard Botox dose for overactive bladder through just one injection works as well as spreading it across ten injections. Researchers wanted to see if the single-injection method was just as effective at reducing symptoms while potentially causing less pain and fewer side effects like urinary tract infections. The trial involved 116 adult women with overactive bladder or urgency incontinence.
