Hormone combo shows promise against resistant prostate cancer

Summary
This study tested a new combination treatment for men with prostate cancer that stopped responding to standard hormone therapy. The treatment uses testosterone (given as shots) and a drug called olaparib to damage cancer cells' DNA, making it harder for them to survive. 36 men took part in this phase 2 trial to see if the combination could lower PSA levels and slow cancer growth.
