First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests different materials used to preserve the jawbone after a tooth is pulled, before placing a dental implant. Forty adults will receive either a dentin graft, dentin plus hyaluronic acid, an allograft, or no graft at all. After four months, a small bone sample is taken to measure new bone growth and how well the graft material integrates. The goal is to learn which approach best prepares the site for a successful implant.
