Oxygen test could boost cervical cancer survival

NCT ID NCT05029258

First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to measure oxygen levels in cervical cancer tumors. Low oxygen (hypoxia) makes tumors harder to treat with radiation. Researchers will use MRI scans and genetic tests on 30 patients to see which markers best identify hypoxic tumors. The goal is to help doctors choose the right patients for oxygen-modifying therapies in the future.
