Metal-Free crowns challenge gold standard for Kids' teeth

This study tested whether new tooth-colored Bioflx crowns work as well as standard metal crowns for fixing cavities in children's back baby teeth. 36 children each received both types of crowns on different molars. Researchers checked how well the crowns stayed in place, matched tooth color, and kept teeth healthy, and also asked parents about satisfaction. The goal was to see if the more natural-looking Bioflx crowns are a good alternative to the metal ones.
