First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a tablet form of the drug omaveloxolone (used for Friedreich's Ataxia) that dissolves in liquid is processed by the body the same way as the current capsule form. 70 healthy adults each took both forms, with a 14-day break in between. The goal was to see if the liquid tablet is a good option for people who have trouble swallowing capsules.
