New implant aims to strengthen knee surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT06948591

Summary

This study is evaluating a medical device called BioBrace that is used to reinforce a patient's own tissue during surgery to repair a torn ACL (a major knee ligament). Researchers will follow 500 patients for up to 3 years after their surgery to see if the implant helps improve knee function, reduces pain, and is safe. The goal is to see if this added support helps people recover better and return to their normal activities.
