NCT ID NCT07150494

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study will test whether a scoring tool called BIND can help doctors spot early signs of brain injury in newborns with severe jaundice. Researchers will evaluate 80 infants under 28 days old who need intensive light therapy. The goal is to see if the BIND score can predict which babies are at risk, so treatment can be started sooner and prevent lasting harm.
