Summary
This study looks at children and adults who have a cochlear implant and still have some natural hearing in the same ear. Researchers want to learn how well these people can understand speech in noisy environments and use sound cues from both ears. The goal is to better understand the benefits of combining electric and acoustic hearing. The study involves 200 participants and does not test a new treatment.
