First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at people who have a groin hernia on each side, but only one side causes pain. Doctors want to know if it is better to repair both hernias at once or just the painful one. The trial will follow 2,200 adults in Sweden to compare long-term pain, complications, and the need for more surgery.
