New drug BI 3820768 takes on tough cancers in first human trial

Summary

This study tests a new drug, BI 3820768, in adults with advanced germ cell, endometrial, or ovarian cancers that have not responded to prior treatments. The drug aims to help the immune system fight cancer. Researchers will give increasing doses to find a safe and tolerable dose, while checking for tumor shrinkage. Up to 187 participants will receive injections weekly for 6 weeks, then every 3 weeks, for up to 3 years if they benefit.
