Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and side effects of a new oral medication called BI 3031185 in adults with borderline personality disorder (BPD) or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). About 96 participants will take a single dose of either the study drug or a placebo, then switch after a break, so researchers can compare effects. The main goal is to see how well the drug is tolerated and how the body processes it over 1-2 months.
