New drug could slow Parkinson's progression in early stages

Summary
This study tests whether a new drug called BHV-8000 can slow the worsening of symptoms in people recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. About 550 adults aged 40-85 with early Parkinson's will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug delays problems with daily activities like moving and walking.
