New tech aims to make IV lines safer for cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07369427
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to place a special long-term IV line (called a PICC) in cancer patients. Researchers will compare a newer magnetic tracking method with the standard ECG-guided method. They want to see which technique gets the line in the right spot more accurately on the first try and leads to fewer problems like blood clots or infections.
