Cartoon characters help kids take better eye tests
NCT ID NCT02157025
Summary
This study is testing a new, more engaging version of a standard eye exam for children ages 5-8 who are at risk for vision loss from conditions like glaucoma. The goal is to see if using cartoon videos and voices during the test helps kids pay better attention, leading to more reliable results. More reliable tests would help doctors detect vision problems earlier and more accurately in young children.
