New scan aims to spot hidden tumors more clearly
NCT ID NCT04993261
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of CT scan, called a dual energy CT, can help doctors better detect carcinoid tumors in the digestive system. The scan is being tested in 71 patients who already have or are suspected to have these tumors. The goal is to see if this imaging method is more accurate than standard scans at finding these growths.
