NCT ID NCT06561295

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing a breathing test early in the morning or later in the morning helps adult ICU patients get off a ventilator faster. About 348 adults who have been on a breathing machine for more than 48 hours will be split into two groups based on test timing. The goal is to find the best time to perform these tests to speed up recovery and reduce time on the ventilator.
