Ring sensor may replace sleep lab for apnea diagnosis
NCT ID NCT06255613
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a special ring and body sensor to see if they can accurately diagnose sleep-disordered breathing, including sleep apnea. About 79 adults with suspected sleep apnea will wear the ring during a standard sleep lab test. The goal is to see if the ring's smart software can match the lab's results, potentially offering a simpler way to diagnose sleep problems at home.
