New allergy shot aims to take the sting out of bee and wasp allergies

Summary
This study is testing a treatment called Beltaven for people aged 14 and older who have severe allergic reactions to bee or wasp stings. The treatment is given as a series of shots under the skin over three weeks, and then as maintenance shots. The goal is to see if it helps patients tolerate a sting without a serious whole-body reaction. The study will enroll 27 participants and observe them over time.
