NCT ID NCT05874193
First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving the drug belantamab mafodotin every 6 weeks (instead of every 3 weeks) is safe and effective for people with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma who have tried at least 4 prior treatments. The goal is to see if this schedule can be used in community clinics, especially for rural and elderly patients. The drug was previously removed from the market after a confirmatory study failed, but some patients still benefit from it.
