Summary
This study tested whether a physical therapist-led program could help people who had ileo-anal pouch surgery. The program included pelvic floor muscle training and biofeedback to improve bowel control. Researchers compared this behavioral treatment to standard care in 53 patients to see if it improved bowel function and quality of life.
