Summary

This study looks at whether a program called SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) can help adult education students with behavioral health issues like depression, anxiety, and substance use. About 340 students and staff from New Haven Adult Education will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is acceptable and effective in improving both mental health and academic outcomes.
