First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking beetroot powder can help lower blood pressure and improve blood vessel function in people with resistant hypertension (high blood pressure that doesn't respond well to standard treatments). About 50 adults with this condition will receive the supplement and have their blood pressure monitored. The goal is to find a simple, natural way to help control blood pressure in this hard-to-treat group.
