First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special lung imaging technique called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) can safely help doctors choose the right ventilator pressure for infants and toddlers under 3 years old. Fourteen children with various lung or breathing problems took part. The goal was to see if EIT-guided pressure selection is possible and how it compares to standard methods.
