First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested the BD SiteRite 9 ultrasound system, a device that helps doctors see blood vessels when placing tubes (called vascular access devices) for treatments like IVs. A total of 149 patients took part. The goal was to check if the system works well and is safe, by seeing if it could clearly show the target vessel and allow successful insertion with few side effects.
