First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a single injection of a gene therapy called V001-BCMA for people with autoimmune diseases like lupus, vasculitis, and scleroderma that have not responded to standard treatments. The therapy targets BCMA, a protein on immune cells, to try to control the overactive immune response. The main goal is to check safety and side effects in 45 adults aged 18 to 65.
