Cheaper endometriosis drug may work as well as costly standard for IVF success
NCT ID NCT07134920
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at 99 IVF patients with endometriosis (a condition where uterine-like tissue grows elsewhere) and a positive BCL6 test. Researchers compared a cheaper oral drug (norethindrone acetate) to a more expensive injection (Depo Lupron) given before embryo transfer. The goal was to see if the oral drug works just as well for improving pregnancy and live birth rates.
