New drug BC006 aims to slow lung scarring in IPF patients

Summary
This study tests a new drug called BC006 for people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a disease that causes lung scarring and makes breathing hard. About 96 adults aged 40 and older will take BC006 or a placebo for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if BC006 is safe and helps improve lung function.
