New study aims to improve bowel control assessment in turkish children

NCT ID NCT07029984

First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study checks if a bowel control questionnaire, the Baylor Continence Scale, works well for Turkish-speaking children aged 6 to 18 who had surgery for anorectal malformations. Researchers will translate the scale and test its accuracy and reliability. The goal is to give doctors a better tool to assess continence and guide treatment in Turkish clinics.
