First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at a new wireless device called the Bambi-Belt that tracks heart rate and breathing in extremely premature babies (born before 26 weeks). Researchers want to see if it is easy for nurses to use, gentle on the baby's skin, and works well. 15 babies will be monitored for their first 10 days, and parents and nurses will share their feedback.
