New study tests better way to open blocked leg arteries

Summary

This study compares two treatments for blocked arteries in the leg: a special balloon with medicine alone, or the same balloon plus a device that removes plaque first. The goal is to see which approach keeps the artery open longer. About 408 adults with leg artery blockages will take part.
