New hope for kids with chronic regurgitation disorder

NCT ID NCT05975684

Summary

This study tested whether the medication baclofen helps children with rumination syndrome, a condition causing repetitive, effortless regurgitation of food. Fifty children aged 4-18 took either baclofen or a placebo (inactive pill) for four weeks alongside their usual care. Researchers measured if the drug reduced vomiting episodes to once a week or less to see if it effectively controls symptoms.
