Summary
This study looked at two types of back surgery for people over 50 with a slipped bone in the spine and narrowing of the spinal canal. One group had a less invasive surgery to take pressure off the nerves, while the other had that plus rods and screws to fuse the bones together. The goal was to see which approach better reduced pain and improved daily function.
