Hands-On vs. Mind-Body: new study tests two Drug-Free approaches to ease chronic back pain

NCT ID NCT07057687

Summary

This study aims to see if adding specific hands-on joint mobilization (Mulligan technique) or relaxation/breathing exercises to standard physical therapy works better for easing chronic low back pain. It will involve 45 adults with unexplained back pain lasting over 3 months. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two added techniques alongside standard care for 4 weeks, with pain and function tracked for 3 months.
