Needle design tested for better back pain relief

NCT ID NCT07475689

Summary

This study compared two different needle designs used during a common procedure for chronic low back pain. 82 adults with facet joint pain received radiofrequency ablation using either a standard needle or a newer 'sidekick' design. Researchers measured which needle provided better pain reduction and functional improvement over time.
