Muscle release technique tested against standard exercises for back pain
NCT ID NCT06267404
Summary
This study compared two physical therapy approaches for treating sub-acute back pain. One hundred adults with back pain lasting over six weeks were randomly assigned to receive either a specific muscle release technique or a standard package of heat, electrical stimulation, and strengthening exercises. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, spinal flexibility, and daily function to see which approach worked better.
