Scientists track baby metabolism to understand early growth
NCT ID NCT02683473
Summary
This research study aims to measure how infants burn energy (calories) during their first three months of life. Researchers want to test the accuracy of new methods for tracking baby metabolism by measuring the same infants twice, about a week apart. The study involves healthy, full-term babies aged 1-3 months and will help scientists better understand normal infant development and energy use.
