Summary

This study tested a new drug called AZD1775 combined with standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) in 42 people with advanced squamous cell lung cancer. The goal was to see if the combination could slow cancer growth or improve survival. Researchers measured how long patients lived without their cancer getting worse and overall survival time.
