Summary
This study tested whether adding an experimental drug (AZD1775) to standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) helps people with advanced squamous cell lung cancer. 42 participants received the combination. Researchers tracked how long the cancer stayed under control and overall survival. The goal was to see if the combo improves outcomes compared to chemo alone.
